LARP arm wraps for medieval, fantasy and cosplay character builds. Cotton and wool wraps in plain and braided constructions, available in black, white, brown, green and natural earth tones. Designed for layering under vambraces, cinching sleeves at the wrist, or adding visual texture to a viking, ranger or forest character build.
What arm wraps actually do on the field
Three jobs.
- They cinch a loose sleeve at the wrist so it doesn't catch on a weapon or undergrowth.
- They sit under vambraces and forearm guards as a soft layer that stops rubbing on long event weekends.
- They add a visible band of colour and texture that turns a plain forearm into a piece of character detail.
Most LARP players who wear arm wraps wear them for all three reasons at once.
Wraps that sit under armour
The under-armour layer is the working role. A cotton wrap, plain weave, takes the rub of leather vambraces or forearm guards across a long event. Wool wraps do the same job in colder weather, with a small amount of give that holds the armour piece in place without restricting movement at the elbow.
Wraps that add visual layers
The visible layer is where character detail lives. A braided wrap in earth tones reads viking warrior or forest character without needing any other accessory. A plain black wrap reads rogue, assassin, dark caster. A natural cream or undyed wrap reads herbalist, healer, druid. A red or coloured wrap signals faction or rank. The same wrap can be cinched tight against the wrist for a clean line, or layered loose for a rougher textured effect.
Where the wraps cross character builds
The viking warrior layers wraps with leather vambraces, with the wrap edge visible above and below the armour piece. The Viking LARP Outfit Sets range pairs these wraps with the wider kit. The forest ranger and woodland archer wear wraps as a softer alternative to forearm guards, with the Ranger & Archer LARP Outfit Sets range showing how the wrap layers under the rest of the build. Druids and herbalists wear wraps as the only forearm layer, with natural cream or dyed wool replacing the heavier armour pieces a warrior would wear.
The arm wrap range has crossed events from Empire and Curious Pastimes to Drachenfest, ConQuest of Mythodea and Bicolline.
