The pirate look is built around three statement pieces and a colour
Pirates aren't bought as full character sets the way mages or warriors are. The buyers know what they want before they search: the patterned sash at the waist, the asymmetric panel layer over the shirt, the long flowing line of the captain's jacket. Build outward from those three and a pirate character reads in seconds.
Where to start the build
The patterned sash is the silhouette anchor. Long enough to wrap twice around the waist and tie at the hip, with enough visual pattern to do the work a plain leather strap cannot. Chow's pirate range carries Black & White Multi-Pattern, Blue & Black & White Multi-Pattern, the Red Aztec Pattern, and a self-patterned cream version with wooden bead detail from the Pirate King Set. The full sash range sits in LARP Belts & Sashes.
The Pirate Adventurer and Pirate Warrior builds
The Chows Pirate Panel Waistcoat is mid-length cotton-mix, with an asymmetrical front and a longer flowing back that sweeps as the character moves. Available in Black & White and Blue & White, both supplied with their matching pattern piece. The Pirate Adventurer Set adds a textured cotton-linen shirt with lace-up neckline and a lapis lazuli feather necklace. The Pirate Warrior Set pairs the same panel piece with a hooded wool-blend cloak from the Chows LARP Cloaks & Robes range. The panel pieces also sit in LARP Coats & Waistcoats.
The Pirate King build
The Pirate King Set goes further. A high-collar steampunk-influenced jacket with adjustable buttons, paired with a lightweight machine-washable gambeson from the Chows LARP Gambesons range, and a wide self-patterned sash with wooden bead detail. This is the captain's silhouette, the named character at the tavern table.
Where pirate ends and trader begins
The Shadow Merchant Set and the Woodland Trader Set use the same two-tone faux leather construction in different colourways. The merchant build leans toward the dockside trader rather than the high-seas raider, with a hooded cloak option and a green Aztec-pattern sash for the woodland version. Same construction, different character.
