LARP leg wraps for viking, medieval, druid and ranger character builds. Wool, cotton, linen and fur-trim wraps in black, white, brown, red and natural earth tones, including herringbone weave variants. Designed for warmth, period authenticity and character silhouette across LARP, cosplay and Renaissance Faire.

What material does for a leg wrap

Material is the first decision. A wool leg wrap holds warmth across a wet weekend and reads viking, celtic or northern-character authenticity. A cotton leg wrap breathes through a summer event and works for ranger, scout or warm-climate character builds. A linen leg wrap sits lighter still and reads herbalist, monk or eastern-character. A fur-trim or fur-edged wrap pushes the silhouette into Viking warband or barbarian territory and reads instantly from across a field. Each material does a different visual job before the colour or pattern even registers.

Pattern, weave and the herringbone option

Plain weave is the workhorse. The same construction across wool and cotton, taking colour and dye consistently. The herringbone weave is the specialist piece, with a distinctive zigzag pattern that reads period-authentic for viking and early-medieval character builds without needing any additional detail. Pair herringbone wraps with the Viking LARP Outfit Sets for the full warband silhouette. Earth-tone wraps in brown and natural cream sit naturally with the Druid LARP Outfit Sets, and lighter cotton or linen wraps layer under the Ranger & Archer LARP Outfit Sets configurations for woodland builds.

How leg wraps wear in the field

Leg wraps wind around the leg from the shin upward, crossing themselves for hold. A standard pair takes a minute or two to put on once the technique clicks, and holds across a full day of walking, fighting and camping. The wrap also doubles as visible texture: a brown wool leg wrap layered over patterned trousers reads more rugged than the trousers alone, and pulls a character toward woodland or trader rather than soldier.

Arm wraps and leg wraps share the same construction at Chows and are often bought together as a pair.

Chows leg wraps have worn through events at Drachenfest, Bicolline, ConQuest of Mythodea, Curious Pastimes and Empire.
